Our Ones program is designed to support the exciting transition from babyhood to early toddlerhood, where children begin discovering their independence, emotions, and love for exploring the world around them. At this age, little ones are busy developing new skills such as walking, using their voices more, trying new foods, sleeping on cots, and learning to drink from an open cup. We provide a gentle daily structure: meals, naps, diaper changes, and group moments, while still leaving plenty of room for curiosity, movement, and play.

One-year-olds are natural explorers, fascinated by cause and effect and eager to test out new ideas. Our classrooms offer a rich variety of sensory and hands-on activities such as crayons, markers, paint, water play, music, simple puzzles, and toddler-friendly manipulatives. These experiences help strengthen fine and gross motor skills, early communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation. Teachers spend the day modeling words, encouraging independence, guiding early peer interactions, and helping children navigate those big toddler emotions with patience and care.

You’ll stay closely connected to your child’s day through Brightwheel, where you’ll receive updates on meals, naps, diapers, activities, and developmental progress. Each week, your child will bring home at least one piece of artwork so you can see what they’ve been exploring, and our teachers create meaningful portfolios filled with photos, milestones, and memories that your child will receive when they graduate from the Ones room.

Our goal is to provide a nurturing, engaging, and secure environment where toddlers can grow confidently, express themselves, and continue building the foundation for lifelong learning.
